Page to Stage (Actors Theater)

Ages 5-10

When you have a great story to tell, great actors use many forms of communication to share the story with others. Using the elements of theater, students will learn verbal and non-verbal communication forms as well as design of costumes, props, and sets to help tell the story. This sessions not only promotes creativity, but also develops speech and language (voice, diction, language), social interactions, literacy components, and self-confidence.

  • Led by a speech and language pathologist and teacher
  • Kids ages 5-10 years
  • Literacy experiences
  • Social (Pragmatic) Language embedded in activities
  • Meets VPK SIS criteria
